Pamela Perkins is a self-taught digital artist and recently published in the April 2020 Living the Photo Artistic Life here.
Born in 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan, Pamela found many different outlets for her creative juices. Throughout her childhood, Pamela developed an appreciation for all types of artistic outlets, beginning with music and quilting. On her father's side of the family came the musical and art background that she has passed on to her children. On her mother's side came the hand crafts of sewing and the artist's eye for color. Most of her childhood was spent dancing or sewing. She took up wood working as well as computer programming. With her passion with the computer building and evolving around photography since 1993 when she started digital restoration of photographs. Taking photographs has always been a part of her life, but it wasn't until years later she started expressing her creative side to her own photographs.
Now she works toward a Themed Portrait studio to bring one's dreams to life.
